With the improvement of living standards, the role of vacation has become increasingly important in the life of Chinese people. In the past, Chinese people spent most time in earning a living, with rare opportunities traveling. However, China’s tourism industry has developed rapidly in recent years. The prosperity of economy and the emergence of affluent middle class have sparked an unprecedented tourist boom. Not only is domestic tourism, but traveling abroad is also enjoying a growing popularity among Chinese people. During the National Day holiday in 2016, tourism consumption totaled more than 400 billion RMB. According to the estimate of the World Trade Organization, China would have become the world’s largest tourism country by 2020, and will become the fastest growing country in its expenditure on overseas traveling in the next few years.
